Expanding Horizons
In the Middle School, teachers and students work together to develop skills of initiative, independence, and a sense of pride and purpose. The school encourages students to develop a wide range of skills, knowledge, and growth in social and emotional maturity in preparation for post-school options.
Key learning areas and experiences include:
- Literacy and Numeracy skills
- Language and Communication skills
- Social skills and personal development
- Fitness program
- Excursions
- Awards Victoria (incorporating the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme), including Outdoor Education and Recreation
- Core learning areas: English, Mathematics, Humanities, Science
- Electives including Physical Education & Sport, Technology
- Volunteering and work experience
